Deck quote software that prices the deck from the homeowner's drawing
QuoteDecking is deck quote software for deck builders' websites. A homeowner draws the deck on a satellite photo of their yard, answers a few questions about height, stairs, railing and materials, and sees a ballpark range priced with your numbers. You get the lead with the drawing and the estimate already done.
No card needed to start. No setup fee. Starter $49/mo, Pro $99/mo.
Why deck builders put a price on their website
Most homeowners start with one question: roughly what will this cost? If your site only has a contact form, many leave without asking, and some who do ask have a budget that doesn't fit a deck at all.
A good deck quote tool answers the budget question first. The homeowner sees a range based on the deck they actually drew, and you see a lead that already knows the ballpark. That means fewer wasted site visits and better first conversations.
What makes deck quoting different
A deck is not priced by square feet alone. Height changes framing, footings, stairs and whether railing is required. A low deck off a patio door and a second-story walkout of the same size can be very different jobs. That is why QuoteDecking asks for height up front and builds stairs and railing from it:
- Height levels: 4 levels (ground, a few steps up, raised, walkout or second story) with your own price per square foot for each, plus a "not sure" option.
- Stairs from height: the step count is suggested from the height and a typical riser, and a landing can be added at the walkout level.
- Railing from the drawing: railing feet come from the sides marked as railing, and you choose the height where railing becomes required.
- Materials side by side: pressure-treated, composite and PVC at your own rates, so the homeowner sees all three prices at once.
- Tear-out, extras and a minimum job: replacing an old deck adds removal per square foot; lighting, pergolas and drainage are priced as you set them.
How it works for the homeowner
- Address. They start typing their address and pick it from the suggestions, or tap "Use my location".
- Draw. They tap the corners of the deck on a satellite photo of their own yard. Square feet update live. They can tap a side to type its exact length, or skip the map and type a size.
- Mark the sides. Each side is marked house, railing, stairs or open, so railing feet and stair locations come from the drawing.
- Height. They pick one of 4 height levels, or "not sure". Stairs are suggested from the height, and railing is required from the height you choose.
- Materials. They see Good, Better and Best decking (pressure-treated, composite, PVC), pick a railing style and any extras.
- Price. They leave their name and email and see a ballpark range right away. You get an email alert with the drawing summary and the estimate.
What you get as the builder
- A hosted estimator link you can share anywhere, plus a one-line embed for your website (a script tag or an iframe).
- An email alert for every lead with the drawing summary, the estimate and photo links. Homeowners can add up to 3 photos of the yard.
- A dashboard to set your prices, see your leads and export them to CSV.
- Your prices stay on our server. Homeowners see a range, not your rate sheet.
What it does not do yet: there is no CRM integration, no service-area map, no webhooks and no measuring from photos. Leads arrive by email and in your dashboard, and you can export them to CSV.

Is a ballpark price a quote?
No, and the tool says so. Every estimate is shown as a ballpark with your disclaimer, and the final price is set after your site visit. What the homeowner gets is an honest starting point. What you get is a lead who has seen a realistic number for the deck they drew.
